Ralph Macchio's Injury Finally Resulted in Elimination For Karina Smirnoff from DWTS

He was a favorite throughout the season, but last night (May 17) Ralph Macchio was kicked off “Dancing with the Stars.”

The “Karate Kid” actor and his dancing partner Karina Smirnoff had suffered as of late due to Ralph’s injury and it finally became too much for them.


Upon learning his fate, Macchio told press, "I will never forget how the fans have driven us through every week. Karina, you inspired me in so many ways with your heart, your talent, your class and your integrity."

That leaves Hines Ward, Chelsea Kane, and Kirstie Alley to compete in the finals coming up next week.
